What else will it come to?

Arc System Works is gearing up for two major fighting game releases with Granblue Fantasy: Versus coming very soon, and then we have what most of the FGC has a keen eye on for later in the year, Guilty Gear Strive.

Up to this point, we only knew that Guilty Gear Strive would be coming to PlayStation 4 like its predecessor though ArcSys revealed today that their new flagship fighting game will indeed receive an arcade version as well.

Strive's arcade port itself will run on Sega's cabinet hardware of the ALL.Net P-ras Multi Version 3 like Guilty Gear Xrd did before it along with some other fighting games including Dead or Alive, Under Night In-Birth, Guilty Gear X2 and Melty Blood among others.

Little other details about the SKU were revealed though the arcade build will apparently be playable next month at the Japan Amusement Expo 2020 from February 7–8 at the Makuhari Messe — the same venue where EVO Japan will be held.

There's also going to be a closed beta test of the PS4 version coming some time this spring where demo participants at events like ARCREVO America and EVO Japan will get first dibs on codes where we'll finally know what type of netcode the developers will be using.

Guilty Gear Strive has no firm release date other than a planned late 2020 window for PS4.

Faust was the latest character to receive a gameplay trailer for Strive this past weekend debuting his return to fighting as a creepier member of the cast though surprisingly ArcSys did not tease the next roster inclusion at the end.
