It seems as though we finally have our confirmation that Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 is indeed happening, and it'll kick off with another playable version of Goku among the first new DLC fighters.

Ultra Instinct Goku's inclusion had been reported a few days ago, but now we have visual confirmation of what the transformed hero's look will be in DBFZ with the one-page scan of the latest V-Jump magazine in Japan revealing the character and also acknowledging how many Gokus there are.

As per usual with these initial reveals, there's not a lot of detail to go off of this scan besides showing off Ultra Instinct Goku's key character artwork with the text mainly hyping up the announcement itself.

Goku's hair and eyes are silver here seeming to confirm that this is the 'mastered form' of Ultra Instinct which allows the Saiyan to attack and defend purely off of precognition and reflex without using any brain power — something Goku should already excel at.

We don't really have any hints here as to his gameplay this time around though going off of Dragon Ball Super, Goku will probably be based much more around speed and precision plus probably some dodges or counters.

The scan does also seem to acknowledge how many versions of Goku there are in FighterZ currently since there's also a small bit of text and screens of his four other versions already available: Super Saiyan, Super Saiyain God, Base Form and GT.

Bandai Namco will reveal more information about Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 and Ultra Instinct Goku during the DBFZ World Tour Finals taking place next month, February 8–9. You can take a look at the V-Jump scan below.
