Hate Byleth all you want but 'Byleth Kirby' is still adorable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

When Byleth was revealed as the final challenger of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Fighters Pass, he (or she) was met with divisive opinions, to say the least. This likely has something to do with the fact that Fire Emblem is now tied with Pokémon in having the second highest number of character reps in Super Smash Bros. despite their frequency being disproportionate to the franchise's popularity.

Regardless of one's feelings towards Byleth's inclusion, there is a neat little perk that comes about because of this addition. Every new character means that Kirby will get a new copy hat. NintendoVS has posted a sneak peek at what Kirby will look like after copying Byleth before the big release on January 28.

In case you were blinded by searing rage as the trailer and explanation played, Byleth's neutral special has him or her performing a ranged attack with the Failnaught bow. This is the special attack that Kirby will gain access to via Kirby's copy ability. Does this mean that Kirby has the Crest of Riegan?

Either way, it appears that Kirby also gets Byleth's blue haired appearance upon successfully copying them. More than likely, Kirby will adopt the male Byleth's appearance regardless of whether or not he inhaled the male or female appearance.

Obviously since Kirby is a fair bit shorter compared to Byleth, the spawned Failnaught bow has been proportionately scaled so that Kirby may utilize it. As a result, it might be more difficult to hit Kirby while he's charging this ability due to his short stature.

Remember that there are two charge levels in which the bow can be fired. In addition to this, the technique can be shield cancelled before reaching the first point in which the bow can be fired.
