K-Brad's face after this insane rollback moment sums up how it feels trying to play online Street Fighter 5 via PlayStation 4 right now

The big news in the Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition realm at the moment is the fact that a fan created a PC mod that actually seems to substantially reduce a desync bug while battling online.

While this does appear to have positive results when two PC users who have the mod installed are facing off, things can get exceptionally dicey when one such user runs into someone playing on PlayStation 4. We suspect this was the case during Rise|K-Brad's play session early today.

While playing on his PlayStation 4, K-Brad ran into an Ed PC user. We obviously can't know if this Ed player had Altimor's mod installed, but one of the potential effects of a mod to non-mod connection is to have the latter experience the lion's share of any desync or rollback issues.

After scoring a stun on his opponent, the Rise competitor needed only to hit a routine bread and butter combo to seal the deal. While in the middle of performing said combo, the game suddenly transported to an entirely different scenario wherein the Ed player had mashed out a Critical Art and nailed K-Brad's Necalli with it.

The jarring sequence leaves K-Brad in a flabbergasted state of awe as he tries to process what's happening in front of him. Given the currently chaotic state of SF5 crossplay, players who want to try to avoid this kind of thing are encouraged to set their network connection preferences to pair up only with players who are using the same platform.

Regardless of what comes down the pike, K-Brad consistently makes the experience fun with his boisterous personality and hilarious reactions. You can follow him on Twitter as well as on Twitch to ensure you don't miss any of the fun. Click on K-Brad's disbelieving face to see the aforementioned sequence play out.
