Update: The Mortal Kombat Twitter account has left a cryptic Tweet that simply says "tomorrow..." In addition, an image that depicts a card of the Joker with bloody Ha's written on was also shown. This image has been added to the gallery after the jump.

Instead of the "J" that one would expect on a typical Joker card, the letters "MK" are present. Based on this and Ed Boon's Tweet from yesterday, it seems likely that the Joker's gameplay trailer will be launching tomorrow.

Earlier: Joker will be made available as a DLC fighter in Mortal Kombat 11 later this month on January 28, 2020. Although we've already been provided a sneak peek at the Joker in gameplay, we've only actually seen his intro cinematic with Cassie Cage (dressed as Harley Quinn).

In a Tweet that was released today, Ed Boon claimed that new gameplay footage of the Joker would be coming soon. This came attached with a rather graphic looking image of the Joker.

Based on the gory nature of the image, we suspect that Joker is depicted in either his outro animation or performing some Fatality against some unfortunate opponent. Needless to say, Joker tends to be one of the more violent characters in the D.C. Universe — which makes him an ideal candidate for Mortal Kombat 11.

We also couldn't help but notice that his appearance might be slightly different compared to how he looked in the original trailer. There's a fairly good chance this is due to the game's customization options which can drastically alter a fighter's attire.

Most of the screen is covered in blood, likely thanks to whatever the Joker just did to the enemy fighter. As a result, we won't be able to fully appreciate Joker's look until the new gameplay trailer is released.

Once the video surfaces on the internet, we should have a better understanding of Joker's normals, specials, combos, Crushing Blows, Fatal Blow, and at least one Fatality.

If you'd like to purchase the Kombat Pack and gain early access to Joker, it will cost you $39.99 USD. This brings with it Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Terminator, and Sindel, and will also unlock the upcoming Spawn when he becomes available on March 17. Players who aren't interested in getting all six newcomers can purchase DLC fighters individually for $5.99 apiece, but they'll have to wait an additional week for release.
