The Street Fighter 5 Tournament Mode has been revealed to have a second open beta on the horizon. This event will be taking place from January 25-26.

If you want to get in on the action, players will be able to register starting on January 14. Do keep in mind that this beta is for North America only.

Not many details about the open beta have surfaced beyond this. More than likely, the bracket will be made available on the Capcom site just like the first time.

It's also currently unconfirmed if participants will be given special prizes. Players were able to score 10 free Fortune Tickets to use in Fighting Chance plus a special "eSports Player" title to use in the game for simply participating.

As of this moment, we are still unaware of when the Tournament Mode feature will be ready to launch. One could speculate that it will be packaged with the Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition launch on February 14, 2020.

Notably, Seth will also be releasing on that date. We'll have to stay tuned for more information.

It's worth mentioning that there are currently no rulings outlined in regards to the recent user created netcode mod for the PC version of the game. Notably, this can cause major unfair issues during cross-play sessions with PlayStation 4 users. Of course, it will be possible to complain about "foul play" and lag during tournaments.
