More comebacks are possible in Street Fighter 5 thanks to the Season 5 health buffs — here's a compilation featuring iDom, SonicFox, Daigo, and more

It's been nearly a month since the Season 5 update was launched for Street Fighter 5. Most of the characters in the game received a 25 health buff, which obviously has the potential to improve the longevity of matches.

Xuses recently posted a comeback compilation for Street Fighter 5 Season 5. Players featured include CYG|Daigo, FOX|SonicFox, iDom, Liquid|Nemo, Rohto|Tokido, and more.

A number of these featured rounds has the player at a significant disadvantage. They'll often be stunned and left with a sliver of life remaining.

But of course, Street Fighter 5 is that type of game where comebacks are quite frequent. This is thanks to the high damage output that characters have. It also helps that fighters can only be defeated through chip damage with Critical Arts.

Although Gill is currently the only character in Street Fighter 5 without Crush Counter attacks, his ability to change the properties of his attacks through the Retribution system more than makes up for it. The Retribution mechanic greatly supplements Gill's combos.

While using Gill's V-Trigger 2, Nemo was able to create a deadly 50/50 mix up thanks to the ice trap function. Something tells me we'll be seeing this setup numerous times throughout the Capcom Pro Tour season.
