Watching RISE|Smug streaming Street Fighter 5 is always a treat. Smug knows how to be a professional player at the game while being entertaining with his fun personality.

Every now and then, he has to deal with some serious shenanigans during his quest for points. In his latest video upload, a hilarious situation occurred that involved his controller disconnecting in the middle of a match.

Needless to say, the title of this video is actually dedicated to this very moment. "This Balrog got LUCKY..."

Initially, the Balrog user actually had the upper hand against Smug as there was a significant life difference between the two. Smug was eventually able to shift the momentum in his favor.

Thanks to his V-Trigger activation, Smug was able to push himself out of the left corner and put the opponent in the right corner. Two combos later and a stray hit, the Balrog was stunned.

Although it looked like Smug was going to take this round, it was at this very moment where his controller disconnected. Unfortunately, the Balrog player was able to take the round in a situation where Smug very likely would've won.
