Dabuz releases his version 6.1 tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

It's been over two months since Terry Bogard and the version 6.0 balance changes were released. Notably, the 6.1.0 and 6.1.1 updates didn't change anything as far as tier placements are concerned.

Since there's been plenty of time for the meta to stew, we have a fairly strong understanding of character viability at tournaments. Liquid|Dabuz has opted to release a new tier list that once again features his unique naming conventions for tier categories.

As always, do feel free to draw comparisons to our community voted tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

At the very top, there are a total of seven different challengers that Dabuz believes could make due with a few nerfs. Joker, Pikachu, Zero Suit Samus, Daisy (and Peach), Palutena, Wario, and Shulk are located in the "has the sauce" group.

Fighters like Snake, Wolf, Lucina, Pokémon Trainer, Inkling, Mega Man, Mario, Greninja, Mr. Game & Watch, and some others are found in the second category — also known as the "some sauce but not the best" characters.

Dabuz's main character, Olimar, has been positioned in high tier. This oddball combatant is in the same location as Chrom, Pac-Man, Bowser, Sonic, Pichu, and Link.

Rosalina, Dabuz's secondary, is found in the upper mid tier group. We see that she's there along with Terry Bogard, Banjo-Kazooie, Robin, Cloud, Captain Falcon, Ness, Ice Climbers, and Luigi.

Challengers like Wii Fit Trainer, Ridley, Piranha Plant, Sheik, Mewtwo, and Hero were placed in the lower mid tier category. Notably, these particular fighters are rare to see compared to those that rank above them.

Only three fighters can be found in the low tier group. These fighters are Villager, Incineroar, and Ganondorf.

Finally, there's the "missing ingredients" tier. Dabuz appears to believe that these characters are in need of buffs. Bayonetta, Kirby, Bowser Jr., Isabelle, Pit, Zelda, Corrin, and Little Mac are considered to be the worst in the game right now as a result.

Please note that Dabuz didn't know how to rank certain characters like Ryu, Marth, and Lucas. It also appears that Dabuz attempted to order all fighters within their tier groups.
