Sonic while walking is faster than Incineroar running in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's 79 challenger roster is made up of many different types of characters. They can vary in terms of shapes, sizes, weight, and speed.
As expected, Sonic's run speed allows him to outperform everyone else in the game (excluding Hero with the Acceleratle buff). Incineroar, on the other hand, is actually the slowest due to his ability to deal insane amounts of damage with his Revenge and grappling abilities.
Funnily enough, Sonic can actually beat Incineroar in a foot race by simply walking. That is to say that Sonic while walking is actually faster than Incineroar during a run.
During a walk, Sonic is moving at a speed of 1.444. Incineroar is only able to move forward at a speed of 1.18 while sprinting.
Of course, it's worth mentioning that Incineroar's initial dash animation clocks in at a velocity of 1.76. Ironically, it might actually be faster for Incineroar to begin running, stop, then begin running again repeatedly instead of just doing a straight dash forward.
Once Incineroar transitions out of that initial dash speed, Sonic will actually begin to pull ahead of Incineroar while barely trying. As a result, it's not even necessary to compare Sonic dashing to Incineroar.
Please note that in the below clip, it took a moment for me to access Sonic's top walk speed as I wasn't holding the analog stick all the way over initially in order to avoid dashing. Inevitably, it's easy to see that Sonic is able to outperform Incineroar in a race like this.

Interestingly enough, Sonic isn't even the fastest walker. He actually ranks at seventh place in a walking competition. Zero Suit Samus (1.47), Sheik (1.47), Greninja (1.502), Fox (1.523), Lucina (1.575), and Marth (1.575) are all capable of walking faster than Sonic.
In addition to this, it's worth mentioning that Incineroar isn't the only runner that Sonic can outpace by simply walking. Robin (1.265), Jigglypuff (1.271), Ganondorf (1.34), Mii Gunner (1.37), Villager (1.397), Dr. Mario (1.397792), and Zelda (1.43) also really struggle to keep up with a walking Sonic.
