Arc System Works appears to confirm Guilty Gear Strive's next trailer at Frosty Faustings will indeed be a fitting gameplay reveal for Faust

But who will they tease?

Arc System Works has been steadily teasing and revealing more of what Guilty Gear Strive will entail, but it's been almost two months at this point since we last saw a new character trailer for the game — which will soon be changing.

Back during the ARCREVO America finals in November, ArcSys did show off a trailer for the upcoming fighter though we only got a brief snippet of Faust's return at the end with the promise of more to come.

A graphic at the end of said video revealed that a new Strive trailer and playable demo would show up at Frosty Faustings 2020 which is set to take place January 17–18.

Now, ArcSys has put out a tweet to seemingly confirm what we already suspected which is that the Frosty Faustings reveal will be very fittingly for Faust's gameplay.

"The doctor can't wait to show you what he has in store for you Frosty Faustings... Jan 17-18," reads the tweet alongside a GIF from Faust's tease.

It'll also be interesting to see if the developers will have anything else in store for us at the tournament considering the last character trailer fully showed off both Chipp and Potemkin while the previous ones teased the next fighter to receive a trailer at the end.

EVO Japan will also be featuring Guilty Gear Strives demo later this month though it's not exactly fair to expect another trailer there too since their last video doesn't list anything for it.

That's seven characters we know of in total now for Strive including Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low and the previously stated fighters. The fourth mainline Guilty Gear title is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 with a release window scheduled for late 2020 — so we'll likely be getting more and more news sprinkled throughout the year.
