Limit Break Super Power is the new comeback mechanic coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ and is thought to bear similarities to UMvC3's X-Factor

Earlier today, new details regarding Kefla and Season 3 surfaced in regards to Dragon Ball FighterZ. It appears that the new comeback mechanic that's coming to the game is being labeled as "Limit Break Super Power."

"When you have one character remaining the meter changes to a golden color that automatically provides a huge boost in attack power," stated the entry in the Jump Magazine. Apparently this buff will be able to stack with Sparking Blast.

We actually caught a glimpse of this during Tomoko Hiroki's Season 3 Battle update. Indeed, when a player is reduced to just one character, their meter is surrounded by a golden glow.

What's not mentioned in the Jump Magazine entry is how the player's meter also increases. During the clip, we can easily note how Gohan's meter increases from four bars to five bars.

The developers appear to be attempting to reduce the number of one-sided games with the addition of this Limit Break Super Power mechanic. Essentially, this adjustment is intended to "give users a chance to turn the tables, even if they only have one character left," according to Hiroki.

Unlike Sparking Blast and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's X-Factor, this Limit Break Super Power effect appears to be passive in nature. We can clearly see Gohan's meter becoming gold and increasing during the transitional scene. Thus far, player input does nothing during this cutscene.
