MkLeo releases his Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 7.0.0 tier list

Is Joker still among the best after getting nerfed?

The competitive Super Smash Bros. scene is going through perhaps one of its biggest leaps in popularity ever thanks to the success of Smash Ultimate though one name has dominated major tournaments since its release.

FOX|MkLeo and his Joker have won a majority of the events they've competed in for almost a year, and now we can see how he feels about his boy's nerfs, Byleth's initial strength and more in the EVO champion's Version 7.0.0 Smash Ultimate tier list.

After starting out with a joking bit about Smash 4's top tiers and their lesser results in Ultimate, Leo immediately places Peach / Daisy as his top character in the game at this time because as he puts it "I get hit with down tilt, and I die."

Before the latest patch, which saw Joker's Arsene nerfed along with some of his other tools, MkLeo would have apparently placed his main at number two overall. Now, however, that spot belongs to Pikachu for his strength with combos, off-stage play and camping ability to place him where Pichu once was.

As for the newest character in the game, Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Byleth, the EVO champ places them straight into mid tier though he admits of course that it's still too early to really tell. He does say that he believes the character is good and not low tier like some are speculating — like the previous FE DLC character is now, Corrin.

MkLeo also places Ryu and Ken in high tier now thanks to their latest buffs along with Mr. Terry Bogard, whom the top player thinks is kinda broken because of his Super Specials of Buster Wolf and Power Geyser. You can check out MkLeo's full tier list below along with his video explaining his choices in more detail.
