Isabelle hijacking Sephiroth's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate victory animation is simultaneously terrifying and hilarious

Sephiroth's victory animations in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are among the best. My personal favorite one sees Sephiroth walking into the flames in the background as a homage to an iconic Final Fantasy 7 event.

It seems that Isabelle's portrayal of the sequence is even more terrifying than Sephiroth's performance of the memorable scene. Thanks to the efforts of 3D animator Sourcy, we can now bear witness to what Sephiroth actually meant when he declared that he would give Smash despair.

Though Isabelle is unironically popular amongst the Animal Crossing fanbase, those that are inexperienced with Animal Crossing games might better know Isabelle for memes that showcase the Shih Tzu in a darker tone despite her cutesy exterior and mannerisms.

For example, Isabelle is often referred to as a fan of Doom Eternal. This came about as a result of Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons releasing on the same day, March 20, 2020.

At the beginning of Sourcy's nightmare fuel animation, Isabelle gives the audience a cold stare that contrasts the burning embers that surround her. Just like with Sephiroth's original victory animation, Isabelle eventually walks off into the flames before disappearing.

Funnily enough, Isabelle clasps her hands behind her back as if she were some kind of military general responsible for the destruction seen on-screen. With every step she takes, the sound of a bell can be heard echoing off in the distance.

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I can safely say that my nightmares will never be the same after witnessing this amazing animation. At the same time, I can't seem to stop laughing either.
