Arthur catches all three foes with an amazing level 3 super for an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Merry Christmas

Imagine being a pint-sized knight with almost no health left, in your underwear, with two dead teammates, and staring down the likes of Dr. Doom, Dante, and Tron Bonne in the chaotic world of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. That's exactly what happened to Zerms4 recently as his Arthur found himself dead to rights against the aforementioned heavy hitters.

Ninety nine times out of a hundred, this plays out with some hidden missiles and foot dives stomping Arthur into oblivion, but every once in a while (especially this close to Christmas) something magical happens.

Catching a second character from your opponent's team in the middle of combo (so effectively hitting two opponents at once) is a somewhat rare but very powerful happening that can swing the momentum insanely quickly in UMvC3, and the community has come to call this a "Happy Birthday" as it releases a comparable amount of happy chemicals in your brain to when you get a present.

In the ever more rare occurrence in which you get all three of your foe's teammates in one fell swoop it's called a "Merry Christmas." To be sure, Zerm's chances of winning were slim to none, but a full stock of meter and a knight's courage wound up being all he'd need to score a Christmas miracle.

In what's got to be one of the absolute most satisfying sequences we've seen in this game (and that's definitely saying something) everything perfectly falls into place for Arthur to mop up all three of his foes with one massive level three Super.

A bit of additional editing makes this hype win even more fun and might even inspire a chuckle, but we'll let you be the judge there. Check out the quick footage by clicking the thumbnail below and share your reactions in the comments.
