Here's how Dance Dance Revolution can help you learn Base Vegeta's corner loops in Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3

Those who have spent a decent amount of time in the fighting game community very well may have heard how much overlap there is between executing combos and playing music in rhythm – something those of us with backgrounds in rhythm games such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, or Dance Dance Revolution can heartily attest to.

Enter Tatsunical with his recent helpful teaching tool that marries Dance Dance Revolution with Dragon Ball FighterZ for a brief, but very valuable moment.

All those disheartening failed attempts to hammer through the into of Through the Fire and Flames still may be of some use today now that showing of GH skills at parties isn't all that cool anymore, as mastering such rhythmic sequences has surely helped to build up the same type of mental muscles used when pulling off difficult combo loops.

Tatsu examines Base Vegeta's corner loops, but includes a DDR-style scroll on the left side of the screen to help better highlight the timing needed to pull these off. The concept is simple enough, but you can already tell by the comments in then ensuing thread how rapidly it's helping people learn.

Indeed, using this tool to refine execution feels as though you're accessing a whole other part of your brain, from what you're used to, to play fighting games.
