Annie of the Stars revealed for Skullgirls Mobile and 2nd Encore; new stage incoming as well

A brand new cast member is heading to Skullgirls as Annie of the Stars has been revealed. This newcomer is first en route to the game's mobile version sometime later this year, but will also eventually make her way into Skullgirls: 2nd Encore in early 2021.
Not only will the Skullgirls roster be soon expanding, but players will also gain access to an all new arena in which to do battle as Annie will be bringing with her "Sound Stage 15." Read on for more details.
Developers offer a bit of an insight into Annie's motivations for joining the fray and clarify what exactly her vicious looking rabbit with an eyeball in its mouth is via this quick blurb.
"Cursed by the Skull Heart to never grow up, Annie has been alive for centuries. Over that time, she’s made it her personal quest to stop the Skull Heart once and for all. To that end, she has acquired numerous skills and items, including her remote parasite, Sagan. Even performing on television works to further her goals as she hopes to educate the world about the dangers of the Skull Heart."
Developer notes also state that while Annie is currently the only additional DLC character in the pipeline at the moment, there's potential for more in the future. This, understandably, all depends most heavily on how well her launch on both the mobile and standard versions of Skullgirls go.
