It was revealed at Vanguard Online Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid League that Lauren Shiba, the Super Samurai Red Ranger, will be releasing for the digital version of Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on September 15. Owners of the physical version will be able to gain access to Lauren Shiba a little later on October 6.

A brief sneak peek of Lauren Shiba's gameplay was also revealed towards the end of the event. Needless to say, Lauren Shiba was shown performing some neat looking combos during the clip.

Canonically, Lauren Shiba has spent her entire life training to master the sealing symbol and made it her singular goal to return to lead the Samurai Rangers.

Unsurprisingly, her gameplay revolves heavily around the usage of her sword. One of her attacks has her emitting numerous projectiles that appear to have homing properties, but this technique requires a lot of start up time.

Lauren Shiba is part of the Season 3 pass along with Robert 'RJ' James and a challenger whose identity has yet to be revealed. The Season 3 pass can be acquired for $14.99.

Alternatively, if you only want Lauren Shiba then you'll only need to pay $5.99.
