Update: Bandai Namco has now released the official announcement trailers for Todoroki and the Switch version of Jump Force along with additional pricing and Character Pass 2 information that has been added to the original story below.

Jump Force first released over a year ago as one of the best selling Shonen Jump crossover games ever, and now it appears to be heading to a new system along with a second set of DLC content.

The latest issue of the Weekly Jump magazine in Japan reveals Jump Force Deluxe Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Character Pass 2 was also announced for all systems with the first DLC fighter as Shoto Todoroki from the My Hero Academia series.

This updated version of the Bandai Namco-published game will include the base title plus all nine characters from Character Pass 2 with a release date set for sometime in 2020 worldwide.

Five characters in total will be included with the Character Pass 2 alongside Todoroki, and the post from ryokutya2089 states it'll contain representatives from Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Bleach.

A release date for the DLC will be revealed at a later date though the new pass itself will be priced at $17.99 USD.

The updated version of Jump Force on Switch is also said to support offline battles of up to six players with each player using their own Joy-Con in 3v3 sets.

A potential second round of DLC characters had potentially been uncovered last year through data-mining Jump Force's PC release though those discoveries point to a very different roster of inclusions like Krillin from Dragon Ball Z.

Jump Force is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with 42 playable characters from 16 Shonen Jump series plu Madara Uchiha from Naruto, Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez from Bleach, Trafalgar D. Law from One Piece and Majin Buu from Dragon Ball Z among others as DLC.
