Soriz and Djeeta are now available for Granblue Fantasy: Versus on PS4 along with new Lumacie stage
It's nice but is it $4 nice?
Granblue Fantasy: Versus has sat with its previous roster of 13 characters in total for just over a month now with two more fighters joining the cast starting today.
Both Djeeta and Soriz are now available to purchase and download for purchase along with a new DLC stage for PlayStation 4 owners though PC players will still need to wait a bit longer.
Soriz is probably one of the more unique fighters on the roster now as the first real brawler type among the cast without any weapons with a rush punch, ground explosion and kicking uppercut along with a hype install Skybound Art.
Using up all of his meter, Soriz can explode off all of his clothes and gain a bunch of new advantages by way of additional speed and follow ups for his normals and specials (including a guard crush).
As for Djeeta, she's essentially the female counterpart to Gran in the series' story and therefore shares a good number of her attributes with the main hero. Her fireball and uppercut look to work much the same though the projectile appears as though it can be charged up.
Instead of the big boot, she has a series a slashes to help close the distance a bit plus her unique attack is a chargeable overhead kick along with some slick-looking Skybound Arts.
Each new character can be purchased for $6.99 by themselves or part of the first Character Pass for $29.99 along with Narmaya and Beelzebub currently.
The Lumacie additional stage can only be obtained by itself for an additional $3.99 which may look familiar to those who have played through Granblue's RPG Mode with the Rose Queen hanging out in the back.
Granblue Versus' western publisher recently announced that the new fighters would be coming almost a week later on PC than PS4 for an undetermined reason though Soriz and Djeeta are currently scheduled to hit Steam on April 13.
There's still one more character to come this month to close out the game's first season pass with Zooey though we won't be seeing her trailer appear until April 17.
