Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon says Mileena will never be in another NetherRealm Studios game ever again

Y'all have no one to blame but yourselves

Well, it finally happened... you broke Ed Boon! The Mortal Kombat series co-creator is clearly tired of all of the requests for Mileena that bombard every tweet the man ever puts out — even if the tweet is not related to Mortal Kombat.

All of your pestering has finally caused the man to snap, and now we will never be seeing the popular female ninja in a NetherRealm Studios game ever again. Boon responded to yet another request tweet earlier today and delivered the sad news.

"You will never see Mileena in one of our games ever again. ever," Boon wrote when a Twitter follower suggested Mileena for Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack 2 and every game Boon ever works on in the future.

The last time we saw Mileena as a playable character was back in 2015 with the release of Mortal Kombat X. Little did we know that MKX would be the last time we ever see her...

If you really want Mileena in Mortal Kombat 11, the best you're ever going to get is Kitana's Highborn tournament variation. With it, Kitana can go into her Half-Blood Stance and utilize sai attacks that were inspired by her half-sister.

And just like that, a beloved fighting game character is doomed to never see the light of day ever again. I hope you're all proud of yourselves...

Mortal Kombat 11 has just concluded its Kombat Pack 1 with the release of fan-favorite fighter, Spawn. We do not have confirmation that a Kombat Pack 2 is in the works at this point in time, but one thing is for sure: if KP2 does get released, Mileena will 100% NOT be in it.

Oh, and April Fools! Obviously.
