NetherRealm Studios has just released a teaser trailer for Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11. An official gameplay trailer is due out tomorrow, October 1.

The new character is slated for an October 8 release, and in the new teaser we get a quick glimpse at the upcoming DLC fighter scanning the Mortal Kombat cast for potential targets.

The trailer is expected to drop at "0600" or 6 a.m., though the tweet sent out by the official Mortal Kombat 11 Twitter account did not specify the time zone. Likely, it'll be CDT since NetherRealm Studios is based in Chicago.

"Targets found. Sending T-800 Gameplay Trailer to 2019, October 1st, 0600 hours. #MK11" the tweet reads.

So far, not much is known about Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11. We know his design takes after the T-800 model, depicting an older Arnold Schwarzenegger in-game that reflects his new look in the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate film.

We also learned not long ago that Arnold will not be providing the voice acting for the character, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In today's teaser trailer, we see a first-person view of Terminator as he scans different Mortal Kombat 11 characters. After moving past Skarlet and Erron Black, the sights stops on Baraka and identify him as a threat.

On-screen text pops up that notes 3 out of 27 targets have been spotted and they are threat level "lethal." The T-800 is being sent to NetherRealm to take them out.

Terminator T-800 is Mortal Kombat 11's third DLC character included in the Kombat Pack. So far, we've seen Snang Tsung and Nightwolf, and those that will follow Terminator include Sindel, DC Comics' own Joker, and Spawn.

The Kombat Pack is available for purchase now. It'll run you $39.99 and will grant you access to all six DLC characters with one week of early access for all of them. You'll also get new skins and gear sets with each character add-on, as well as six themed skin packs such as the Klassic Arcade Ninjas pack.
