Punch Planet releases a new cinematic trailer that sheds some light on the story

Punch Planet is an Indie fighting game that is currently being developed by three individuals. This particular game feels very similar to Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. The resource to pay attention to is the Time meter.

At the time of my review, the game's main story mode was unavailable. Having said that, there is a story that's in the works. A trailer that showcases elements from the setting was recently released.

Undercover agent Roy — who is essentially the "Ryu" of this series — has been framed for murder. As a result, he intends to travel to a planet known as Planet K-0 — also known as Punch Planet — to track down the real culprit in order to clear his name.

During the trailer that lasts for 1:04, we also get small glimpses of roles from Cid, Tyara, Dog, Agent-G, and Maxx. Despite how short the cinematic is, there's plenty of action that's happening.

Could one of these fighters be the criminal that Roy is looking for, or is there some hidden enemy not shown in the trailer?

Punch Planet is currently available on Steam with Early Access for $19.99. This trailer also reveals that Punch Planet is playable on the Apple Arcade.
