Here's everything we know so far about the all-new Gogeta in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Beams for days, what looks like an extremely fast command grab, and plenty more

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be getting a brand new DLC character on September 26 as Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta was revealed Friday at Tokyo Game Show.

We did get to see some footage of the game's second Goku-Vegeta hybrid during the showcase, but it's difficult to process everything you're seeing when it's wrapped up in the hype of the reveal moment and the character is being controlled by a player (BC|Kazunoko) who obviously hasn't had a ton of exploration time. Lucky for us, Rooflemonger has gone back through the footage with a fine-tooth comb and explains all the details in a recent video of his own.

We'll jump right into it and highlight a few of the more notable takeaways from the showcase. One of the first character abilities everyone looks to when a new DLC fighter hits the scene is their assist.

Gogeta's sees him perform a flying sidekick which, as Roof points out, is airborne. Upon contact, this move will send foes smashing into the wall so hard that they bounce off and can continue to be hit for combo extension.

When it comes to projectiles, this newcomer looks as though he'll thrive. He is able to create after images/clones of himself to do a special ki blast and has the ability to fake his beam attacks to keep opponents on their toes.

It's one thing to read about this attack, but another to see it in action. Check out this quick clip as Rooflemonger discusses the particulars and speculates on the potential of this cool move. You'll find the full character showcase with commentary embedded below that.
