Bug discovered that dumps meter into Joker's Rebellion Gauge when damaged Pokémon Trainer swaps in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 2v2 matches

Persona 5's Joker is often viewed as a top tier in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It can be argued that while Arsene is active as a result of a fully charged Rebellion Gauge, Joker is the best character in the game. A certain bug has been discovered that makes Joker an even better fighter during 2v2 battles.

While paired with the Pokémon Trainer as a partner, it's possible for Joker to generate free meter towards Arsene. Considering how easy this action is to perform, it's nearly impossible for the Pokémon Trainer user to avoid triggering this interaction.

Once the Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon receives damage, meter can be dumped into the partner's Rebellion Gauge simply by swapping out. There appears to be a direct correlation between the amount of damage the Pokémon Trainer has taken and how much meter generates once the swap is initiated.

If the Pokémon Trainer's damage exceeds 100%, then it should only take about two swaps to fully charge Joker's Rebellion Gauge. Needless to say, this can have a pretty extreme effect on match outcomes since Arsene powers up Joker's attacks by a significant amount.

However, swapping with less than 50% damage appears to require six or more swaps. Joker is still generating meter for free, but it's at a much slower rate.

Do keep in mind that as the Pokémon Trainer continues to perform the down special to swap Pokémon, the action becomes more stale. This means that more vulnerability will be attributed to the special, which greatly hinders the move's utility.

Having said that, it does appear that the Pokémon Trainer might be the ideal partner for Joker in doubles matches. It's currently unknown if tournament organizers will arrange a ban on this team lineup. More than likely though, it'll probably be removed in a future patch.
