Soul Calibur 6 brought the series back to the mainstage of EVO after years of being absent, and Bandai Namco has even more plans for the game's competitive future on a global scale.

The publisher announced their Soul Calibur 6 World Invitational 2019 event set to take place this November featuring seven of the top players from around the globe plus a last chance qualifier spot battling it out to take home their part of the $25,000 prize pool.

Only two players have been confirmed to be in attendance thus far with Jeremy "OP|Skyll" Bernard and Gerardo "Lolomx" Vega though we should also expect to see some other big names like EVO winner BNE|Yuttoto, PG|Shen Chan and Orange|Kayane in attendance as well.

First place for the big event will earn the winner $10,000 with the runner up taking home $5,000. The bronze medal winner receives $3,750.

The last chance qualifier tournament will be capped at 128 players, so you should register very soon if you have any intention of competing. General admission will cost $10 to get in the venue, and LCQ entry will cost another $10.

Soul Calibur's World Invitational will take place all on one day on November 2, 2019 at the HyperX Esports Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Registration can be found on, and tournament info can be located here.
