Masahiro Sakurai reveals that more DLC fighters are in development for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

So you mean to tell me Sora isn't out of the equation yet?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate made Banjo-Kazooie available on Wednesday and thus the long-time staple of many childhoods has officially entered the fray.

One important announcement made during the Nintendo direct was that MORE DLC fighters are in development. This opens up so many possibilities for games wanting representation in Ultimate .

I think it's safe to say that no one, NO ONE, imagined the roster for Ultimate getting this big. It has every fighter ever included in the previous titles.

Then to top that, now we have DLC characters joining the fight, and Nintendo is truly listening to who we want. We are seeing icons, and favorites making their way into the game.

I can barely type this because I am so excited. I thought personally when the initial DLC pack was announced, Nintendo would do multiple packs. The sales for Ultimate are so good, it could only bode well to keep adding fighters and content.

So after Terry Bogard was announced, I thought we'd get an announcement of more on the way. There is one more slot for the first five-pack of DLC, but Sakurai blessed our ears with great news.

"We welcome more opportunities to satisfy the fans." Sakurai informed us. "I'm excited to add more characters to the game, that means more worlds will be added to the series," Sakurai also articulated.

With that announcement, the possibilities remain endless it seems. Could we see Sora finally? Shantae? Or maybe we can finally get Waluigi, or more Kongs into the game. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.

What did you think of the announcement of more DLC under development? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
