It's been revealed during Nintendo's Direct presentation that Terry Bogard of SNK's Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series will be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's expansive roster.

We have confirmation that Terry Bogard will be made available on November 2019. Not much is shown of the character's gameplay, but the trailer is nothing but fan service for SNK fans.

Many characters from SNK's franchises attempt to grab the Smash invitation. Over and over again, they fail to grab the desired item.

Hilariously, Geese tries to swipe at the letter, but ends up falling to his death instead. A classic reference to his last known canonical fate.

Nakoruru also sends her bird to retrieve the letter, but even with its ability to soar through the sky, it is unable to nab it. Other characters that make an appearance in the trailer include Ryo, Andy, Joe, and Iori. None of them are able to prove themselves worthy of the invitation.

Inevitably, it's Terry Bogard that reigns victorious. Indeed, "Terry faces the fury."

This means that there is only one DLC character remaining after Terry Bogard, right? It's been officially confirmed that development on fighters outside of the Fighters Pass' five additions has begun.
