Here's a better look at the free athletic costumes coming to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition

What would a character like Oro even do for his track outfit?

Earlier this week, Yoshinori Ono got up on stage in at the Brazil Game Show to reaffirm us that new Street Fighter 5 characters and content is coming this year alongside a batch of free costumes.

The new batch of athletic costumes will be releasing in December, and they'll available for every member of the roster — which means that G will finally receive a new outfit after more than a year of being out.

Though we technically already saw what the new track uniforms look like from the slideshow, Capcom has released a full, higher quality image of everyone's new digs that actually have quite a few variations.

Most of the world warriors are wearing their track jackets and pants with various states of zipping though Abigail and Zeku have their own sporty tank tops to show off, and G with Blanka have their sleeves rolled all the way up

Some characters that normally have hats like M. Bison, Falke and Rashid took them off to play in the games though G and Cammy still have their berets. Interestingly, Kolin's normal head / hairstyle has been replaced with that of her nostalgia costume.

These sporty uniforms likely are meant to represent the 2020 Olympics considering Street Fighter 5 will be one of the games featured at the Intel World Open sponsored by the event though obviously they didn't get the rights to use the Olympic branding in that case.
