HungryBox is blatanly copying 'Hot Ones' by interviewing Super Smash Bros. pros while eating ridiculously hot sauces and we couldn't be more excited

Introducing 'Hot Juans'

Juan DeBiedma is better known amongst the fighting game community as Liquid|Hungrybox, one of the absolute best Super Smash Bros. Melee players of all time. He's also the host of a (technically) new YouTube series titled "Hot Juans."

If that sounds at all familiar it's because this venture is a blatant rip off of "Hot Ones," an extremely popular show in which Christopher Schonberger interviews celebrities while they eat chicken wings with progressively hotter sauces on them.

While we aren't exactly sure how HBox and Team Liquid are going to pull this off without getting pulled from the web, we are also very excited to see how various Smashers handle their heat.

The first episode will feature the current top dog in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, FOX|MK Leo. Two EVO champions sit with seemingly innocuous plates of wings in front of them, but we have a feeling things are going to turn pretty crazy pretty quickly.

While we don't have access to a full episode just yet, we do have a quick clip showing an increasingly intense sequence as the spice starts to affect both competitors' abilities to speak.

Check out the first glimpse of Hot Juans via the embed right here and let us know what you think of it in the comments after. Are you looking forward to seeing who all else endures the Scoville ladder? If so, which Smash competitors are you most hoping to see?

Admittedly, we'd like to see them play a round of Smash immediately after throwing one of the hottest wings back. Perhaps HBox and the production crew have something of the kind planned already?
