Kombat Pack are now able to get their hands on the brand new T-800 Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11 with the latest DLC character's early access period beginning now while his widespread release is slated for one week from now on October 15.

We've been exploring just about any and all Terminator content we've been able to get our hands on over the last week or so, and have a pretty good idea of what to expect once servers pop back up and everyone engages in the mad dash to get to the character select screen.

There's a 1.11 MK11 patch update already available to download. This patch is just over 600 MB in size, and you'll definitely want to have this done and out of the way by the time Terminator is live.

We were lucky enough to get an in-depth breakdown of the character straight from NetherRealm Studios developers last week. We found him to be a rush down character who doesn't get too elaborate or fancy with added bells and whistles, but instead resorts to beating, pummeling, crushing, and tossing foes about with to-the-point punches, kicks, and shotgun blasts.

Terminator is already available to a select few via early, early access, and so we've gotten a handful of viewings from some of those more fortunate gamers. FOX|SonicFox, for instance, posted a 70 percent combo from the T-800.

This sequence uses two Krushing Blows as well as a Fatal Blow, so it probably isn't going to happen all that often in regular play. That said, it does give us more of an idea of the character's potential to pack a real punch.

If you'd like to purchase the Kombat Pack and gain early access to Terminator, it will cost you $39.99 USD. This brings with it Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Terminator, and will also unlock the upcoming Sindel, Joker, and Spawn when they become respectively available. Players who aren't interested in getting all six newcomers can purchase DLC fighters individually for $5.99 apiece.

Below you'll see step by step instructions for how to download the new character on PlayStation 4. You'll find download instructions for other platforms right here.

We've also included the full trailer as well as a handful of stills so you can get a good look at the latest and greatest from Mortal Kombat 11.
