A number of fighting games have made the jump to mobile platforms in recent years including Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Skullgirls, but there are others that use the shift in platform to take things in a bit of a different direction.

SNK and Netmarble's mobile action RPG The King of Fighters All Star has been available in Japan for some time now, and it will finally be receiving a worldwide release later this month on October 22, 2019.

In celebration of the western launch of KOF All Star, the companies are running a pre-registration promotion for iPhone and Android users where players will receive special perks dependent on how many people sign up.

If 50,000 players pre-register for the game, each of them will unlock a special Baseball Yuri character, and there will be a five star fighter unlock if it reaches 1 million.

KOF All Star features over 200 fighters ranging from King of Fighters '94 all the way to King of Fighters 14 including the fan-favorite staples like Kyo, Iori, Mai, Terry and Geese.

You can check out the King of Fighters All Star website to learn more about the pre-registration bonuses plus information and trailers for much of the unlockable roster. Below you can see Geese's trailer and the neat cinematic video that has everyone squaring off against Rugal.
