We're just one week away from getting to finally play the third post-launch DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11, and now we can see what the machine turned man will look like in action.

NetherRealm Studios released the gameplay trailer for the Terminator T-800 this morning showing off his shotgun, armored metal endoskeleton, time traveling Fatality and more.

Arnold Schwarzenegger — or his likeness anyways — walks onto the stage carrying a Johnny Cage action figure play set which he uses to store his shotgun in as a nice nod to one of the character's past scenes.

Quite fittingly, we get to see the Terminator square off with the cybernetically enhanced Jax and Kano.

Towards the second half of the trailer, we see Scorpion burn off the new fighter's skin revealing his endoskeleton off in full. We won't know the details of how it works specifically in matches, but the Skynet bot is able to walk through attacks without being stunned.

For his Fatal Blow, Arnie whips his opponent with his trusty shotgun before posing with the thumbs up and shooting them in the face. He then steals Scorpion's one-liner and grabs Jax saying "get over here" as he strikes a few more blows and ends with a painful headbutt.

Terminator's first Fatality has fun with more time travel quirks in a game built around the plot device, as he shoots out Jax's knees and sends him through a time sphere in the future where he's finished off by another Terminator endoskeleton on the battlefield.

The update preparing MK11 for the Terminator's arrival is now live to download across most of the platforms with the Version 1.10 patch that also introduces a third tournament variation for every character and balance changes.

While this fighter may sound like Arnie, we've known for a while now that the T-800 is actually voiced by a different soundalike actor.

Mortal Kombat 11's first guest character will arrive on October 8 for Kombat Pack owners though we should be getting a full gameplay breakdown of the T-800 in a Kombat Kast later this week. Obviously the trailer below features some NSFW content.
