We discuss the odds of a Marvel vs. Capcom 4 reveal at Capcom Cup, how second V-Skills could really help certain characters, and how to beat autopilot

EventHubs Podcast episode 79

We got at this idea a bit during last week's podcast entry, but we're going in full force this time around as Catalyst and I explore just how realistic a Marvel vs. Capcom 4 reveal at Capcom Cup might be.

Taking into account the company's previous practices, their current relationship with Marvel, and a few other factors, we do feel it comes out to a matter of "when" as opposed to "if." As to whether that "when" be Capcom Cup remains to be seen.

We also take a closer look at some of the recently revealed second V-Skills in Street Fighter 5, and try to paint a picture of what they could afford the characters who do them.

We go into specifics for fighters like Cody and Chun-Li, but also take a step back for a more broad, conceptual approach. Some fighters have amazing V-Skills that will be hard to top while others simply can't wait to have another option.

Also, for those of us (all of us) trying to fight the good fight against going on autopilot while playing, there's a bit of advice toward the end of the episode regarding when to take risks and how to get away from mindlessly putting yourself in situations you don't want to be in.

We also want to share that we're currently in the midst of another EventHubs Podcast contest that could land you a shiny new $300 Amazon or Steam gift card right in the middle of this holiday season. You'll find more details on how to enter below.
