Seasonal costumes have become a staple in Street Fighter 5 since it launched as well as other recent fighting games, and that will be continuing into this year as well with some nice new additions.

Capcom announced today that new holiday-themed costumes will be coming to SF5 for Poison, Lucia and G via a new trailer along with a new snowy version of Metro City.

First off, we have G dressing up as good ol' Santa Claus with the hat and beard and everything which is also his first new costume since he released back in August 2018.

Lucia gets a holiday-themed bunny dress though it won't exactly bee keeping much of her body warm in the cold winter weather outside of her arms and legs.

As for Poison, she'll be wearing the same sort of fuzzy hood that some of the other girls have gotten in past years matched with some short-shorts and a pair of white boots.

Holly Jolly Beatdown is a new version of Abigail's Metro City stage in SF5 where everything has been snowed over, there's Christmas trees and presents strewn about and of course a giant, inflatable version of Abigail in the background holding a welcome sign.

All of this new content will be available on November 18 with the costumes costing the usual $3.99 USD each while the stage will set you back $1.99 or 40,000 Fight Money. You can check out the trailer below.

Interestingly, their release date is just a day after the North American Regional Finals where some other new Street Fighter 5 content is scheduled to be revealed, so perhaps we may also see a new character or two also release alongside the new outfits as well.
