Here's why EventHubs posts the kind of content that we do, how we've evolved over the last 10 years, and what we'd like to see in the future

Offcast interviews EventHubs President, Jon 'Catalyst' Grey

A little something different today as we're serving as a hub that leads back to... the same hub. In any case, welcome to EventHubsception as Offcast has conducted an interview with EH President, Jon "Catalyst" Grey, about the evolution, choices, and inner workings of our site.

Catalyst offers an inside look at how we go about reporting and sharing here at EventHubs, noting why we tend to post the kind of content that we do, and why we tend to avoid certain subjects if at all possible.

Why do we devote more time to Street Fighter than any other FGC title (though Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been closing that particular gap)? Why do we tend to avoid negative stories for as long as is responsibly possible?

Catalyst chimes in with commentary on such subjects as we've had a number of readers reach out over the years to ask why such practices are in place.

He also tells a bit of the story of EventHubs' beginnings as it was first formed when he realized that a lot of the information that was readily available to other competitive communities was not as prevalent in the FGC.

Offcast asks a few other questions in the interview as well, and we'll let the video do the rest of the talking. Click below to get your insider's look at our little corner of the FGC.
