Keep those hopes and dreams in check for now

Terry Bogard's release in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is almost upon us, as Nintendo revealed last night Masahiro Sakurai will be showing off his gameplay during a long stream tomorrow morning, November 5.

Players hoping to see the last new character in the Fighters Pass or teases for the future DLC during the 45-minute presentation should keep their expectations, however.

In some follow-up posts to the original announcement, Nintendo Versus states plainly there will be no further reveals during the stream regarding any new fighters aside from Terry himself.

The team likely wanted to clarify this point because many players probably saw the run-time of the stream and presumed there may have been more than Nintendo was originally letting on.

What we'll assumedly be seeing is a breakdown of Terry alongside some matches and hopefully a full / beefy Version 6.0.0 update breakdown going over the new balance changes that will be present when Mr. Bogard drops.

It's also safe to assume we will not see any new game modes either considering Sakurai previously said after Banjo's release that Home-Run Contest would be the final mode addition to Smash Ultimate.
