Japanese competitors of the fighting game community tend to be known for their calm demeanor. Every now and again though, we get the opportunity to really see their emotions burst from the inside.

Earlier today, Mago ended up facing off against DNG|Itabashi Zangief in a first to two set at Canada Cup 2019. Later on, GRPT|MOV showed clear disgust at CO|Dogura's play.

The set between Mago and Itabashi Zangief came down to the last game and last round. Winning the next round would decide who would stay in the winners bracket and who would be sent to the losers.

In this particular round, Mago had a clear advantage and a significant life lead. Since this is Street Fighter 5, that's no reason to get comfortable in the Cammy vs. Abigail match up.

After defeating his opponent, Mago had an epic pop-off. Following this, Itabashi Zangief appeared to debate with himself in regards to shaking Mago's outstretched hand.

MOV also ended up having an interesting reaction after losing to Dogura. This was the result of Dogura making wild plays that just happen to pay off.

With just a sliver of life, Dogura woke up with a crouching light kick into an EX Scissors Kick. He also managed to counter MOV's projectile with an EX Head Stomp at just the perfect time.

We can clearly see a look of disgust on MOV's face as the camera shows the two players. Still, he provided his opponent with a sportsman's bow.
