Super Smash Bros. Ultimate EventHubs tiers have been reset

Huge changes for some characters likely mean lots of tier list shuffling

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate received an exceptionally beefy update Thursday evening, not only introducing an all new virtual reality mode, but also shaking up the attacks and overall balance for a good handful of the game's characters.

With all the potential shuffling this patch brings with it, we've decided to reset our EventHubs tiers page for Ultimate. With the slate wiped clean, we need you to go in and vote for how you think your favorite fighters fair.

We'll get a clearer picture of just how hard these changes hit once the community has some ample time to explore, but in even just looking at the notes on paper we already suspect some fairly drastic movement from a few roster members.

Ken, Ryu, Captain Falcon, Diddy Kong, Lucario, Bayonetta, Captain Falcon, Bowser Jr. and Rosalina/Luma are among those who have longer lists of buffs. As to whether said buffs will be effective remains to be seen, but it's characters like these you want to keep an eye on.

Conversely, fighters like Pichu, Olimar, Peach, and Wolf all got smacked around a good bit with the nerf bat. Hopefully they'll stop frustrating opponents so much, but don't fall so far they become competitively invalid.

We're only a few hours into this most recent patch and already we're seeing Little Mac making strides up the ladder from where he previously was. We've taken a few screen shots of both the overall tier list and match up chart just before we reset so we can see how things ultimately change:
