Snake and Peach numbers ran rampant at Combo Breaker and Momocon for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — weekend character usage stats

There were two major events that Smash fans were able to pay attention to over the weekend — Momocon 2019 and Combo Breaker 2019.

Here's yet another opportunity to take inventory of the characters that are bringing about the most success at these type of events. While this isn't the best way to determine a tier list on its own, it serves a useful tool.

Not surprisingly, Snake and Peach ended up being the most popular fighters when the totals of both events were summed up. In particular, Snake was most often used in the top 128 of Momocon and the top 64 of Combo Breaker.

At Combo Breaker 2019, Mr. Game & Watch was the second most popular combatant after Snake. Notably, this was the character that ultimately won that tournament thanks to the efforts of SB|Maister.

Despite this, Mr. Game & Watch was unused at Momocon 2019. Previously, many thought of this fighter as one of the weaker roster additions.

Roy, Bowser, Chrom, Palutena, and Olimar were also extremely popular choices when the sum of their users are added up between the two events.

In total, 61 out of the 76 characters were represented at the top portions of the two brackets during the weekend. This includes the newest released fighter, Joker. Thanks to FOX|MKLeo, Joker was also used to win Combo Breaker 2019.

Keep in mind that 15 of the 192 players have characters that are currently unaccounted for, so there is room for variance.
