Click Burgundy's fighting game art is truly top tier and makes fighters look as badass as our imagination portrays them

Click Burgundy is an artist that we've featured many times on EventHubs and for good reason. They have a remarkable talent for capturing the essence of a character in their own unique style that stands above the competition.

We've gathered another dozen or so of their recent fighting game-related works that include portraits of our favorite heroes and baddies from Street Fighter plus others from Dragon Ball, Marvel and even Granblue Fantasy.

My personal favorite piece from this collection would probably have to be the distressed-looking Cloud in the rain which appears to be referencing the emotional ending of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7.

Super Saiyan 4 Goku recently made his debut in Dragon Ball FighterZ... as part of a super, but Click Burgundy's portrait of the transformed hero embodies his rare serious and more stoic side of the normally goofy martial artist.

Granblue Fantasy's Charlotta also received her own side profile though her short stature appears to have carried over to the portrayal given that her crown takes up almost half of the space.

We highly recommend checking out Click Burgundy's fighting game artwork in the gallery below, and you can find a wider variety of anime and other video game-based pieces on their Twitter account.
