Capcom has released the updated Street Fighter 5 statistics for online play. This time around, we're given a look at how each character performed in the month of April 2019.

As always, the company shared character usage and combat stats over on their Shadaloo C.R.I. website. There have been some changes since March, so let's dive into what we're seeing now.

Back in March, M. Bison players reclaimed the throne for best win average across Ranked, Casual, and Battle Lounge matches. The Shadaloo boss and Urien always seem to be neck-and-neck when it comes to the top spot, and in April M. Bison dropped back down below his rival once again.

The last time we saw Bison as #1 (before March) was in November 2018. Urien would reign supreme for the three months that followed, making M. Bison's March victory short lived.

As far as character usage for April 2019 goes, the Shotos continue to hold strong at top ranks. Ryu, Akuma, and Ken once again sit comfortably in spots #1, #2, and #3, respectively, and even Kage — who usually isn't considered very high on the tier list — secured the sixth spot on the chart.

The character that is subject to much discussion right now, G, is also making waves online. In March, G found himself as the 24th most played character in Street Fighter 5 online. In April, however, the president of the world moved up a whopping 11 spots to hit #13.
