Differences between Peach and Daisy's turnips have been discovered for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Peach's version of the down special might make her better than Daisy

Since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released, the community was unsure of the differences between Peach and her Echo Fighter, Daisy. Meaningful unique properties were known for Pit, Marth, Simon, Roy, Samus, and Ryu when compared to their respective Echo Fighters — Dark Pit, Lucina, Richter, Chrom, Dark Samus, and Ken.

For the most part, it just looked like Peach and Daisy had different idle animations and taunts. Finally, something more meaningful has been discovered that can potentially separate their tier positions.

As noted by Jugeeya and Ruben, their turnips — generated from down special — have unique properties. Specifically, these turnips will cause opponents to suffer different amounts of knock back.

Peach's turnips have a base knock back value of 25 with a knock back growth of 45. Meanwhile, Daisy's turnips have a base knock back of 30 with a knock back growth of 35.

In other words, Peach's turnips are better for taking stocks and edge guarding opponents who are trying to recover. Daisy's turnips... appear to be almost strictly worse than Peach's.

Maybe Daisy has access to certain combos using turnips at higher percentages than Peach. Overall though, it looks like competitive players should be choosing Peach over Daisy. Given, this doesn't necessarily mean that Daisy isn't still a top tier like Peach, but it does imply that Peach will probably overshadow Daisy in the future.
