After eight years and thousands of videos, fighting game community content creator Maximilian has garnered over 1,000,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

Indeed seldom does a week go by where you won't see at least one video from the prominent streamer here on EventHubs, and today we'd simply like to share with you moment that Max passed this incredible benchmark.

There's been something of a social media campaign over the last week as excited fans tried to drum up the hype and help move the needle up to the million sub mark as rapidly as possible, and it was on Wednesday night that the dream finally became a reality.

Maximilian has become one of the most familiar faces in the FGC thanks to his lovable demeanor, charismatic enthusiasm, and wonderfully entertaining videos. While you'll find a wide array of fighting game content on his pages, we have to give a special shout out to his Assist Me! series which has proven both informative and hilarious.

We'd like to extend a congratulations to Max for his accomplishment. The fighting game community has a growing number of incredibly talented content creators that help the rest of us understand, appreciate, and observe the games we love from many different angles, and Maximilian is surely at the forefront of this extremely important and appreciated group.
