The Smash Ultimate Summit has concluded. This event featured some of the highest level of play that we've seen for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so far.

Attending participants included FOX|MKLeo, NRG|Nairo, TSM|Leffen, Tempo|ZeRo, Solary|Glutonny, Rogue|Light, Liquid|Dabuz, Demise|ZD, GW|Zackray, PG|Cosmos, CLG|VoiD, eU|Samsora, Alliance|Armada, FOX|Mew2King, PG|Plup and C9|Mango.

As a result of this, we've got a batch of highlights to talk about. Let's dive right into them.

First up, the set between Nairo and Dabuz was quite explosive. While Nairo was using Lucina to try to dominate the neutral, Dabuz made every hit count with his legendary Olimar.

The Ultimate version of Olimar allows the character to deal obscene amounts of damage. Part of this is due to the fact that Olimar recovers quick enough from his up smash that he is allowed to continue the combo afterwards.

After latching on a white Pikmin, he landed an up smash which comboed into two up aerials. This single sequence caused Nairo to take 76.2% damage following a stray forward aerial.

Getting past Gluttony with a partial waft charge in an edge guard situation can be pretty scary — even for someone like MKLeo.

After Samsora got the download on Dabuz's Olimar, he surprisingly pulled out the Rosalina. Despite the fact that Rosalina is a lot weaker compared to her Smash 4 iteration, Dabuz was able to pull out a win here.

Eventually Dabuz found himself in the grand finals against MKLeo. Unfortunately for him, neither his Olimar nor his Rosalina was enough to prevent himself from getting 3-0ed. MKLeo is seemingly unstoppable right now.
