Fantasy Strike has been available to play since 2017 in Steam Early Access, but we now know when it'll be making it's debut on consoles with a full release.

Sirlin Games announced recently that Fantasy Strike will be officially launching on July 25 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and Linux on July 25.

The game will seemingly launch with 10 characters from other games like Yomi and Puzzle Strike of about every style imaginable between an archer, painter, a golem made of stone and a gambling panda among others.

Fantasy Strike is designed with longtime fighting game players and new people in the genre in mind with a simple control scheme for attacks, specials, jumps, throws and supers that the Steam page even suggests that the game can easily be played on Guitar Hero controllers.

Touting a custom version of GGPO netcode, the developers have a heavy focus on providing a simple and clean online experience with sets against friends just a button press away.

Learning characters and tech has also been streamlined with specific frame data settings for training mode plus character-specific tutorial videos within the game.

Fantasy Strike will be available for $29.99 USD though it's currently on sale on Steam for $15.99. You can check out a new trailer for the fighting game below along with our early impressions for its initial release here.
