Mortal Kombat 11's final two DLC characters for this season may have been leaked

If these leaks are legit, fans are going to be quite happy

Six characters are slated to be added to Mortal Kombat 11 via the game's Kombat Pack. We officially know the identities of four out of the six, but the final two may have been leaked over the weekend.

It's worth stating that these potential leaks have not yet been officially confirmed, so keep a grain of salt nearby. Having said that, the remainder of this story will be discussing what could turn out to be spoilers, so proceed with caution.

YouTube content creator Dynasty originally spotted and reported the leak this past Saturday. Apparently, when fans would search the words "Mortal Kombat Terminator Game" on Google, an ad for Mortal Kombat 11 would pop up that sent those who clicked it to the game's official website.

Not only was this a link to the MK11 site, but the listing on Google read "Mortal Kombat 11 | Announcing New MK11 DLC Game | New Character Terminator." The lethal cyborg is specifically mentioned in the search listing, though there doesn't seem to be a character page or anything of the sort on the official website when you click the link.

The listing seems to have been removed since then, as searching those words no longer brings up the ad. However, searching in a similar fashion for another character garners the same result (at the time of writing this).

Evil Dead series protagonist Ash Williams sees the same type of ad on Google when you search "Mortal Kombat Ash Williams."

Ash and Terminator have been rumored to be in Mortal Kombat 11 for a few months now. Despite data-mined files referencing them, lines of dialogue for the characters surfacing, and hints in Shang Tsung's trailer seemingly pointing to both, the actor who plays Ash in the Evil Dead films — Bruce Campbell — has publicly denied the character's inclusion in the game twice now.

I went ahead and tested the Google search method myself to see if it works — it does. The ad for Ash popped up after searching on mobile, and Terminator is no longer there.

To take it a step further, I tested the same method with characters already announced as Mortal Kombat 11 DLC. Both Spawn and Sindel received the same results as Terminator and Ash, and other characters that we have heard nothing about didn't bring up the ad when I tried them — though searching "Ermac" brought up the same ad, just without mentioning Ermac specifically.

We'll have to wait and see if these potential leaks are legitimate, but this is just another batch of fairly compelling evidence in favor of Ash and Terminator being in Mortal Kombat 11. Still, it's just rumor at this point.
