Jubei's Samurai Shodown trailer revealed

Another trailer has dropped for Samurai Shodown. This time, we are given a demonstration of Jubei Yagyu's gameplay. Although he first appeared in the original Samurai Shodown, he disappeared in the third game and didn't return until the fourth entry.

Jubei is shown to wear an eye patch. He is a wandering ronin as he decided to abandon the strict lifestyle for the sake of seeking his own enlightenment.

During the trailer, Jubei is shown to use two katana blades to duel opponents. As a fighter, he appears to be able to strike with a flurry of stab motions.

He appears to be able to generate a fiery projectile that travels across the ground. This will likely be useful for poking and zoning.

True to how he has been represented in previous entries, Jubei is capable of performing a counter. If attacked while in the stance, the enemy will have their attack negated and will take damage instead.

Remember that the game will be released on June 25, 2019. Those that purchase it before June 30th will get the season pass for free.
