Dead or Alive 6 to add ability to purchase individual costumes for characters for PC leaving only western PlayStation 4 owners on the outside

Dead or Alive 6 is only three and a half months old and currently has a handful of big costume DLC packs which some players will apparently soon be able to buy piecemeal or à la carte.

Koei Tecmo recently announced on Twitter that the developers will soon be implementing a feature that will allow users on PC to purchase DLC costumes individually outside of the bundles — something that players who use only a few characters will probably appreciate greatly.

The ability to buy singular outfits for your favorite characters is set to hit Steam on June 18 — the same day that the game will be adding in Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond from King of Fighters as new crossover fighters.

Xbox users have been able to download individual costumes for $1.99 each on average as well as Asian PlayStation 4 owners which now just leaves PS4 players in the Americas and Europe without the option for an undisclosed reason.

No indication was given for the reason behind the switch up, but it could be to bolster their free-to-play model by allowing those with only a few characters buy outfits for their favorites or to potentially curb modders from model swapping in the costumes they desire.
