Banjo-Kazooie and the Dragon Quest Hero have been added to the ever growing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate banner

They seem to fit in perfectly, don't they?

No, yesterday was not a dream for Super Smash Bros. fans. Banjo-Kazooie and the Dragon Quest Hero were actually announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as DLC characters of the Fighters Pass.

These two combatants make up characters number 77 and number 78. The Dragon Quest Hero will be releasing this Summer while Banjo-Kazooie will be in the hands of players once more this Fall.

As is tradition with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's additions, they get added to that massive banner. Will it ever stop growing?

The Dragon Quest Hero and the Slime find their place next to Mega Man, Marth, the Pokémon Trainer, and Persona 5's Joker. The Luminary from Dragon Quest 11 is represented here.

As for Banjo-Kazooie, They're flying in the sky with their instruments while surrounded by the Ice Climbers, Corrin, the Wii Fit Trainer, Simon Belmont, Dr. Mario, Mr. Game and Watch, Toon Link, Breath of the Wild Link, and the Mii Brawler.

Just like with all the other fighters before them, they fit perfectly. Obviously characters were shifted and possibly resized a bit to make this work, but they earned their place for sure.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little longer until this update is live on the official Super Smash Bros. Ultimate website.
